1911 Bridge Option

When the RMS Olympic was launched in 1911, she lacked extended bridge wings. This set has the 1911 Bridge.

1915 Refit Option

The RMS Olympic underwent an extensive refit in 1915. To match the bridge on her sisters the Titanic and Britannic, the Olmpic was complemented with extended bridge wings.


Includes Upgraded Boat deck

The thickness of the kit boat deck is around 2.5mm. This would make the upper parts of Olympics Superstructure appear out of scale. So this photo etch superstructure set comes with a 1mm thick laser cut plastic boat deck. It is black to prevent light leakage. It even includes the lifeboat cradles.

RMS Titanic Promenade Deck Beams for Trumpeter 1:200 Kit - Sheet C

At first glance these may look similar to other PE sets. But if you look closely you will see many more details.


ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION:

  1. Firstly each section must be removed from the sheet.
  2. Then proceed to lift up/fold each beam 90 degree. The outer frame keeps the beams lined up.
  3. Then prepare the deck by removing and filling.
  4. If you are lighting your model you will need to cut channels to sink fibre optic strands into the plastic and pop up at the light positions (available on the brass sections)
  5. Dry fitting is essential to ensure all sections position correctly with promenade wall sections. I recommend using slow setting CA glue to fix them in place.
  6. Add the cross beams
  7. Add the telegraph shroud. (not pictured but will be included)

These Laser Cut Private Promenade Walls & Ceilings are laser cut from 1mm A grade Walnut. You can now easily add accurate wood beams on the ceiling. You also now have the choice to use real wood on the walls or use the brass ones included on Sheet E.


The doors are attached with tabs, but cut out. So you can choose to have them open or closed.

What is the point in beautifully decorating your internal walls, if you don’t populate the rooms with accurately scaled furniture!?


The beauty pf using Photo-etch is that the thickness of the furniture is much more accurately scaled than if they where 3D printed.


This set will complement my sheets E, F & G Internal spaces. This sheet can conveniently be divided into 3 separate sheets as you work with each deck individually.


These sheets include the correct amount of tables and chairs for each room. Giving you the option to fully populate each room if you wish to. Most of the items require very minimal folding as they are 1 piece.

FUNNELS, RIGGING & UNDER HULL PLATING

RMS Titanic Photo-etch Funnel Wrap & Rigging Set for Trumpeter 1:200 Kit

This Funnel kit is for anyone wanting to more accurately improve their kit funnels.


CONTAINS:

  • Photo-etched brass 287 x 198mm sheet containing all funnel wraps.
  • Photo-etched stainless steel 282 x 162mm sheet containing all rigging parts.


These are similar to the Pontos funnel wraps. But they are not exactly the same. I have more accurately re-designed these so they fully wrap around the funnel and the ends then meet at the rear.


Also the rigging wires have great detail at the ends.


IF YOU HAVE THE CHINA 3D PRINTED FUNNELS

You may want to buy just the rigging sheet. However because the upper rim is thicker than the kit's funnels. I have created a small conversion set of larger brackets. Simply choose this option in the in the 'Funnel Type' options and I will include this with your order.


INSTALLATION:

This set will include some assembly instructions. However it is as simple as gently sanding of the rivets from your kit's funnels, and then using CA glue to secure them in place.

RMS Titanic Under Hull Plating Kit for 1:200 Trumpeter Model

This Under Hull plating kit is designed to add the missing plating detail on the Trumpeter Titanic hull. I recommend you add this detail to your model if the underneath of your model will be seen when displayed.

The plating on the side's of Titanic's Hull where 'In/out' plating. But on the underside of the Hull was 'Klinker' plating. Klinker plating is similar to fish scales and is continually overlapping from stern to bow. So each plate is numbered to help you know the best order for it to be laid and also its precise location.

RMS TITANIC LITTLE BIG PIECE - PHOTO ETCHED BRASS

The largest section of Titanic named the 'Big Piece' was recovered in 1998. Once it had been carefully restored to prevent further erosion, it was displayed in a Museum.


I think it would greatly complement any Titanic model if displayed along with it, to serve as a subtle reminder of her fate.


This little big piece is available in 3 scales. 1/200, 1/100 and now 1/50


This mini kit will be a very simple model to build. It is fully detailed on both sides and every rivet is accurately accounted for.
